Plantar Fasciitis, a Painful Foot Condition

In response to a post on Facebook concerning the painful condition called Plantar Fasciitis, I contacted A shoe insole company, Protalus, asking whether or not their insole was helpful in this painful foot condition.  This was their response to me:

Hello Alfreda,

Thank you for asking. Plantar Fasciitis can be treated with Protalus insoles.

Our insoles put the foot back into a more neutral position by 31% more
when compared to generic stock insoles, and an additional 26% when
compared to our competitors. By decreasing tension on the plantar
fascia, pain and inflammation are reduced. Wearing our insoles will
increase your biomechanical alignment within your kinetic chain and
reduce the repetitive stress and strain on your joints and tendons.

If you have Plantar Fasciitis, you can speed up your body’s healing
process by combining Protalus insoles with regular stretching. In
fact, one of the most important treatments of Plantar Fasciitis is
stretching your heel cord several times daily.

You can find more about our insoles and Plantar Fasciitis at:

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with today.

Best Regards,

A Healthy Lifestyle for the Saints of God

GM Beloved Hearts,

It’s me, Sis. Freet again. I have decided to make an entirely new Blog and entitle it Healthy Lifestyle for the Saints of God. I will continue to write the Blog: Committed to Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but this will be an additional Blog. This new Blog will be based upon the Word of God, my 70+ years of experience with life on Planet earth and, occasionally, my 50 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. While thinking about the sweet young lady with the experience of nearly passing out on the Freeway earlier this week, it occurred to me that I need to put on my nurse cap and talk to the saints about our responsibilities to our natural bodies as well as our souls and spirits.

First of all, to the sweet lady that had the nearly-blacking-out-on-the-freeway experience, please see your Health Care Provider immediately! As Saints we tend to think in terms of black and white, devil versus God, but we have to be wise too. You had a near-catastrophic experience and both you and your child could have died. If you had blacked out others could also have been involved. Get this thing checked out; you don’t want it to happen again. Then, please listen to everything else that I said about spiritual battles. If you didn’t read the message it is entitled, You Can’t Hurry God. It can be found on my Blog on WordPress: I will re-post it on FB and Twitter. Love you and Sis. Freet is praying for you. This new blog was born in response to your needs and I thank you for that.

3 John 2 (KJV)

2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

The words of this New Blog are going to be directed to a very specific group of people: Saints. Yes, I am aiming at us, darlings. Also know that what I am saying here I am saying in love. When an individual points a finger, remember all of the other fingers that are pointing back at him or herself. Others that wish to listen in on our conversation are invited to listen, but I am not addressing sins, spiritual blessings or Holiness in this Blog. I am specifically talking about our natural bodies. As saved and sanctified Saints of the Most High God most of us have the soul and spirit issues down to a “T”. We love God, we believe that Holiness is still right and we live a life that is pleasing to God. But what about our bodies? We realize that we are spirits, that we have a soul and that we live in a body. It is this body that keeps us connected to planet earth. Mistreat your body and it won’t be long before you will be absent from it. And you know you have to get your work done on Planet Earth to please God. Yes, I know that we get all of that. But, if we believe that, why do some of us live as though we don’t love our bodies? Now, allow me to add this one thing. Please remember that some individuals have an organic reason for weight-related issues. They may be struggling with disease, gene pool issues or other health problems that may not be obvious. There may be more to an issue than what meets the natural eye; everything that you see may not be what you think. Please know that this information is NOT directed towards those individuals. We don’t know what a person’s private battles are and we pray for them. God is indeed a healer and a deliverer and He will deliver them. The individuals that I am addressing are those who would do better if they knew better, those who know better but won’t do better, and those who need a little motivation to get on the right track of doing better.

Let’s think of our bodies as our children. We love our children and we do the right things by them. We wouldn’t dare feed them sodas, gum and candy as we watch their teeth rot out, would we? We would not think of letting them tell us how they want to live. If they scream and fall on the floor and kick because they can’t have Nachos for the third time in the week, and they “don’t yike veggies” we assist them by raising them off that floor with some stern love, right? Yet, when our bodies crave sodas, milk chocolate, donuts, a nightly dose of Blue Bell, high fat foods and stuff that’s just bad for us, we solicitously run out to get “the body” just what it wants. So, you you can believe God to break a cigarette or even drug addiction, yet you act as though He cannot give you the power to say “No!” to that Double-Caffeine-Super-Swirled-Latte with whipped cream on top that gives you extra heart beats? Come on now.

This Blog will address clean and healthy eating, saying “no” to the fleshly desire that are injurious to the body and the need to move, move, move so that we can live, live, live. Hopefully, it will be an exchange so that we can talk about how we can all reach our goals. It will not be a Blog of condemnation, ‘cause we know we get enough of that from the world, right? But what I hope it will be to you is an open forum to discuss Healthy Living. Will you join me? I need to hear from you so that I know that this labor will not be in vain.
